I am back from the X International Conference on Computational Bioengineering, held at TU Wien, Austria, last week. Sebastian Fürthauer organized a terrific minisymposium on Collective mechanics of cellular scale processes, to which I contributed a talk on my “theory of solitude” in living matter.
